Streep impressed with her impersonation of fashion magnate Anna Wintour, but here DiMarco has the real-life porn magnate Michael Lucas (who produced the film for his Lucas Ent. It's an interesting case in point because filmmaker Tony DiMarco was obviously inspired by the success of the formula of the mainstream Meryl Streep hit "The Devil Wears Prada", but actually goes that film one better. Almost a decade old, the comedy "The Intern" remains funny and entertaining, shifting the balance away from mechanical sex to a reliance on story and characters. Putting the lie to this conventional wisdom are the occasional old-fashioned Adult movies still being made, though in drastically reduced numbers compared to even 5 years ago. That's why the majority look down their noses at traditional story-oriented porn. The underlying reason for this sea change (recall the classic actual XXX movies made in the '70s and '80s, of which Kirdy Stevens' "Taboo" is an ongoing best- seller) is obvious: if you want great acting, watch a Meryl Streep movie. With descriptions like "chemistry", "hot scene" and awards geared toward individual scenes rather than fully-realized works the consensus has become that only high-energy wall-to-wall sex matters. Just a strange movie.Gay Porn as well as Mainstream XXX has recently fallen into the Gonzo trap - audiences, filmmakers and so-called critics have all ganged up en masse to spell an end to traditional story-line features. Very weird movie! 2/10Īlso a tame story, but some humor and some crazy diseases! 3/10 Guinea Pig 3: Shudder! The Man Who Doesn't Die -Īctually a story, but not an interesting one.I don't like it either! It's sick and disturbing, but also very boring to watch a 41 minutes clumsy autopsy by an old samurai with lousy humor! 2/10 This is the one Charlie Sheen doesn't like. Guinea Pig 2: Flower of Flesh and Blood.
But it's some old s*** and what was extremely scary in 1985 is just not cool now! 2/10 "Guinea Pig: Devil's Experiment" is pretty hard to watch, especially the scene with the eye.
It's faked snuff, which is made so realistic that Charlie Sheen believed it was real and prosecuted the director. Guinea Pig 1-6 is an old classical "torture box" from Japan.
Movies rated from 6-10 are good movies, which I'll recommend But please be aware that most of the movies are very graphic!
Because of that, I have also rated the movies myself.
IMDB is the best movie rating database, but sometimes I do not agree with most people. Examples are: "Hostel Part II", "The Grudge 3", "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning" and "August Underground's Mordum". Subsequent movies, which I have seen, will be mentioned as comments to the original movie. Trust me it has been fun and interesting, but also hard and boring, as many of the movies didn't impress me at all! I don't like watching movies with no story Pure torture and disturbance are not enough ingredients for a movie to really affect me. I have spent hundreds of hours making this list researching and watching movies. This is my personal list, I have made to help you pick the good movies and avoid the bad. The list is ranked from 1-100, where number 1 is most disturbing. This list contains 100 sick, scary and disturbing movies I have seen the last decades.
