Some of the Top Black Friday Tech Deals of 2021 are in the gaming category, with plenty of deals on some of the year’s hottest games (Far Cry 6, Forza Horizons 5) and the best accessories to take your gaming experience up a level. Retailers always bring out the big guns for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and this year is no exception.
In addition, everything from games themselves to accessories typically gets a discount, making it well worth exploring what’s around to see how much you can save. You've once again reminded me that I know more about making usable GUI's than a good portion of people who get paid to do so.Black Friday and Cyber Monday savings are always a great time of year for those patient shoppers who want to wait out for a deal, and video games are typically among some of the best savings. I shouldn't have to look for guides on rebinding. I'm really enjoying the character of Haytham, and the setting's interesting enough so far, but I'm really fed up with the controls. Then suddenly, I'm Haytham, and the counters don't seem to be working correctly in the swordfight (Or maybe that's because it's a magical sword fighting tutorial.), but it just seems to have taken a step down. The flow of the combat and counters were improved from Assassin's Creed 1, then they added the Streak system (Which, as ridiculous as it was, was kind of fun), and adding in more abilities (Some rather useless ones, but meh). The Assassin's Creed 2 trilogy spent 3 games refining the combat. If the game improves after, consider my hat devoured). The camera keeps moving around unwelcome while I'm freerunning, reminding me of the worst parts of the Tombs and the like from Assassins Creed 2 (Missing a jump to a chandelier with no save points? HULK SMASH!), and the combat has changed yet again (Bear in mind I'm not yet past Haytham. So if anyone's got a fix for that, that'd be great.Īlso, the controls in general for the game disappoint me. So far, I've switched the the map screen 3 times, and rebound Interact to Delete (Because that's often "unbind"). It's functionally useless.) It doesn't say how, and I've tried stuff like holding down the key I want to bind to. (I don't mind simplified console interfaces, except that I can't use the bloody thing. So, yeah, they've got a stupid system, probably designed with a console interface in mind instead of a PC one.
See, in the customise controls menu, they've got a stupid scroll list, with no unbind key displayed, and an arrow next to the control indicated.
Duh.īut I've got a problem when I go to do this. I recently got around to starting Assassin's Creed 3 for PC, but the controls make me want to smash my computer in frustration.
